Loss of Love is a dark and heavy imperial court drama where the blood never stops flowing, which can weigh upon the soul quite a bit. Matrilocal Marriage I remember as being much less heavy, though it still has some high stakes by the end of it.

In regards to your original post, Matrilocal Marriage is much more open about the femininity of the protagonist, whereas in Loss of Love it is such a tight secret that it isn't even revealed until much later, so it does start to feel that you could swap for a straight couple until you finally reach the point that it becomes relevant.

Loss of Love is probably the slight better of the two, and I remember plot beats a lot better, but Matrilocal Marriage may be closer to what you are looking for. They are both very long winded, and helped me stay somewhat offline for like a month when I was binging them.

A few GL manwhas come to mind, like A Joyful Life, Her Tale of Shim Chong, or (a little more lighthearted) Ring My Bell. I've read quite a few Chinese GL webnovels the past couple years, and immediately I think of Matrilocal Marriage or Clear and Muddy Loss of Love, both of which use the "crossdressing woman as the husband" trope but manages to keep their identities a part of the drama a little better, especially the latter. Notably, most of these stories have the conditions of women front and center.

I think my mobile carrier just blacklisted mangadex again after something like 2-3 years of being able to use it, I'm on a trip and this sucks.

Ayo finished Metal Gear Solid for the first time, I did end up beating Metal Gear beforehand as well. I can see why the series is popular, the story elements were interesting and the formula of having this cast of characters lecture me every new room is strangely addicting. The obsession with genes is very pop sci and weird, of course.

If your revolution doesn't support kidney beans, you aren't a comrade.

(I flipped a coin to choose the bean)

Sometimes my brain thinks the comm icons are user avatars, so I think all the posts in askchapo or chapotraphouse are just a couple of really prolific posters.

I really enjoyed reading it a while back, glad to see the adaptation is good.

Vampire the Masquerade, if only because I'm not into being bad guys. Love the vibes, vamps are fun, but I find it just a little too dark to want to RP as or write about.

My friend has derailed 3 investigative encounters in Dark Heresy by causing psychic phenomenon with his mutant psyker powers. The power only conferred a buff to the next test.

My analysis breaks down because I can't fathom military units picking up ammunition properly.
