After I got my Steam deck I've run lot of games at 40 fpz even if they can run at 60 fps since it's been a good balance of smoothness and battery life. But, 30 I refuse to do.

I thought that wasn't great particularly in the over world where it made it look like your character was Sonic with it looking blurry when they weren't even moving fast.

Most people when they talk about motion blur mean one that applies it to everything. Most games don't even have per object motion blur that it's not even ubiquitous enough to assume that is what is being talked about. Especially if you are talking of console games from last gen when 30 fps was the standard.

It makes sense for 30 fps capped games, since even consoles with the best frame timing and locked 30 fps feel and look terrible without motion blur to smooth things out. That's pretty much the few instances motion blur is needed, but once a minimum of 40 fps is hit that isn't needed.

Especially for steam deck. Wish there was an option to have a community preset you choose replace the settings.

I've wondered the impact, since I'm still using up bandwidth but I'm doing it through newpipe and freetube. Which means it might be more difficult to track my usage to use for useful data to improve YouTube along with less interactions like comments or likes for channels. Wonder how channels are affected with whether people use Ublock or YouTube front ends it results in less signed in account use, which is where lot of engagement comes from.

I stopped after season 2 and choose to only remember the first season, since ending to season 1 is a pretty satisfying wrap up the series. Season 1 is a fantastic standalone mini series.

How do you access old archived reddit content? I've seen downloads but wondered if there is something more easily accessible.

Even if I wanted to since the death of third party apps I haven't had a reason to use or have a reddit account. I didn't care enough to bother with the work around to get them working either. Glad rss still works, but pretty much why messages like that are news I find out through here.

stepping up starts increasing the price real quick.

And I wouldn't want to deal with an external drive for a laptop. Less extra things I have to carry and have dangling around the better.

The issue isn't the processor on the Mac, but that stuff like the ram and internal storage is not user upgradeable which is the bottle neck if users need more. To no surprise users who want more aren't happy with upgrade premium. But, that's Apple. It's why their stocks are good to have.

What keeps me away from them is more the inability to upgrade even the storage. 256 is just too small and what smartphones come with these days, and stepping up starts increasing the price real quick.
