Short attention span leading to doing gaming in short bursts. Sometimes I lose interest in games for months and get more into the mood to watch TV shows and movies. Then lose interest in that and move to reading then lose interest in that and going back to gaming. Rinse and repeat. Has helped me avoid the whole not having fun with games anymore threads that I'd see a lot, since my focus just naturally shifts back and forth to keep things feeling fresh.
I watch lot of HDR content on my PC with the HDR signal being sent to my display TV instead of having to fall back to tone mapping. Last I checked HDR wasn't working on Linux. Been checking in on it for several years, but it always seems to be being worked on but not ready for release.
That's awesome news. I love these old games getting pc ports and quality of life features.
This was actually one of those shows where I wondered if the articles about the outrage was manufactured to try and get attention to the show, since I didn't hear anyone actually talk about it. Just didn't seem to have traction among viewers other than articles talking about how people are angry popping up on /r/television back then.
Makes me hungry. Really craving it as the weather is getting colder.
The new icon is so cute.
Which start bar program do you recommend?
I disabled my tpm so I don't end up with a surprise upgrade.
I've tried and gaming is a lot better than it was, but I still prefer Windows in that department though I do stick with SteamOS for the Steam Deck and haven't bothered running Windows on it.
I have a hard time watching combat sports now because of the consequences of head trauma along with how poorly compensated the fighters when the league is raking in money. Just feels so exploitative for a sport with such potential long term consequences on cognitive function. Wish these fighters were getting a better share and pension plans like the NBA players are thanks to their union.
I have hated the trend of companies bundling services to charge more instead of separating it.
