I'm not 100% sure, because I didn't use both in a while. But I think there was some weird "functionality" where you have to move the map somewhere near the adress you want to go to before it'll find it when you type it into the search bar.

Why that is? I don't know at all.

LibreTube. Uses Piped as backend and has pretty much all the features that NewPipe has, including SponsorBlock.

You can create an account on one of the numerous Piped instances and log in with LibreTube, to have things synced. Since Piped is open source, you can even selfhost it, if you know how. My Lemmy instance (FOSSware) also has a Piped instance.

But I'm not fine watching 1 ad per video. And no, I'm also not fine paying for a bunch of fragmented streaming services and a bunch of other subscriptioms on top of that.

Give me just one streaming platform with a reasonable price and with everything on it and I'll pay again. Would be nice if it was YouTube. That'll never happen. So: AdBlocker, as long as that works. And sail the high seas for other content.

Don't want to offend you at all, but I'm still 100% sure that american bread isn't as good as german bread. No matter where it comes from in america. Germans practically "live" their bread. German bread is also a UNESCO world heritage.

I've been to many places in the world and the world got some damn good food. Food is where Germany often lacks (in my opinion). But one single thing that I always miss when I go abroad: German bread.

I live at the border to Denmark. When I pass the border and head to the grocery store over there, the bread sucks. Like, really.

Germans are just very serious with bread and beer (I head someone call beer "liquid bread").

Edit: Calling my american brother @Zengen@social.fossware.space. He's been to Germany 3 times now. What do you think about our bread, bro? 😆

Germany has over 300 variants of bread. We don't only have pretzels, we also have all kinds of different stuff baked in soda lye.

We even have a song about it. Baby got Laugengebäck.

I've been to the US. 2 times, in fact. While I really, really love american people... Your bread is pretty bad. I mean... Even our regular grocery store bread is better than what I had in the US. Which is sad. There are several articles and videos on the web that explain why that is.

... It's starting to look like a TRIPLE RAINBOW!

Thanks for the heads-up. 😀 It's not that I consider VB.NET to be my favorite language. I just wanted to say that I don't feel alright with all the "hate" that I've seen in the past when it comes to programming languages. I often see people ask what their first programming language should be and the "gatekeeping" answers are really annoying. Maybe gatekeeping isn't even the right word...
