They look delicious! What are you going to make them into?

I finished the first season of The Apothecary Diaries. I will admit that I'm starting to like Jinshi more since I got to know more about him. I like how the main plot points are more subtle in this series I think that's its main charm.

I started reading this manga and I like it so far. Thanks for the rec!

I drink socially. However, I'm not a big fan of the taste so I avoid it at parties. The last time I drank was the celebrate New Years.

I agree, I honestly only watch Demon Slayer for the animation and fights. The visuals are enough to keep me somewhat invested in the story but not much

^ I will say that Demon Slayers animation is absolutely stunning and this arcs setting is super complex. The optimist in me is really hoping the long wait times is due to keeping the animation quality consistent throughout.

So far it's been pretty good! I got a call back from a place for a job interview. This will be the first interview I've landed since September so I'm excited but also super nervous.

Everyday I'm more convinced that this timeline is a very shitty parody of some sort

Awesome! I really hope that Uber doesn't close down all their operations like how Amazon did in Quebec.

A couple years ago, I decided to switch phone carriers. While looking at the plans, they offered various models of new phone for new members including an iPhone SE. Up until then, I've only owned the flagship Android phones that came "free" with other phone carries upgrade plans, so the fact that I could own an iPhone for around the same price was very enticing to me.

Yes, I've heard about Apple charging people a premium for basic things that they removed (adopter to use the headphone jack, charging brick etc) or Apple introducing "revolutionary" features that Android had had for years, but I wanted to try it out for myself and see if I like it. Form my own opinions, ya know?

But now, it's safe to say that Apple's exclusivity has been getting on my nerves lately.

I hate not being able to download APKs, I hate the fact that I have a lightning charging cable, with Android, I could use any cable I had lying around because it was either USB-C and micro USB. I hate that I have such little customization! IOS recently came out with "widgets" but they still follow the distinct Apple layout. I could download something off the Playstore and it could change the entire layout of the phone! This leads me to next gripe with iOS; the App Store is so limited. On iOS only approved apps are allowed on the App Store. I know that this is a good thing because it means that every app is less likely to contain malware, but having anyone being able to create and upload app was kinda cool. Don't like YouTube's or Spotify's current layout or ads? There's a Vanced version of the apps for that. Do you enjoying using browser extensions? Well, Firefox allows you to add them and use them on the mobile app. The list goes on.

Apple gives decent support for their hardware, so I'll be stuck with this phone for a bit. But I know for sure that my next phone will be Android and I'll keep it that way.

I was able to get this tub at Food Basics since it was on sale. I'm absolutely hooked on this flavour, it's full of peanut butter, cookie dough, and brownie chunks it's such a good combo.

I paid $6 for this 1.5L tub, but I think the regular price is around $7.50

Man, shading water is so hard, but I think I at least got the basic shapes in a little.

More fan art for y'all! I think I'm going to recreate all the iconic poses from the series tbh

I've been exploring more of the Fediverse lately and I've found that PixelFed is great for finding photos for drawing references, which is where I got the inspo for this piece from. I really struggled to shade this if I'm being honest, something about the ice cream cone made the values hard to make out. Plus, this canvas size was a lot bigger than my other drawings so it looks a lot less pixelated. Idk how I feel about it tbh.

Spring is here so it's the perfect time to draw more earthy/bright-coloured pieces! I may have started off my pixel art journey with Pixelrama but I think I prefer Libresprite tbh...

( I should also mention that I also post my art on Bluesky, I go by Angie-543 https://bsky.app/profile/angie-543.bsky.social)

I made a piece with Miku but it's too small to upload here lol. I think I might draw the rest of the vocaloid crew...

I download Pixelorama because it was recommended by this community and I was inspired by the post here. I like making pixel art so far! I think I might make some more detailed pieces once I get the hang of it.
