They’re quite well built because of the quality but it’s just the screen can be scary if you have anything on the keyboard. The glass is strong but since there’s a tiny tiny space between the keyboard and screen there’s a chance that the thing on the keyboard can crack it
To be completely honest the m1 MacBook airs have a fairly low price for a MacBook at somewhere in the price of 750 but can be higher if it has better specs. But for an intel MacBook Air from 2019 might not be of best interest since the price when you can get a MacBook Air that looks the same but has a chip that can compete against the i9 in the 16 inch MacBook while not having a fan to cool it
I would go for the 14 inch m3 or look for an older one but if the 15 inch appeals to you I think you should get it
