iPhone users are a minority, so it's more common to see tribalistic slap fights where people rep their preferred corporate overlord. Like, there's a power imbalance one way where iPhones are a status symbol, but imbalance the other way where Androids are more normal.

When I was more mentally ill, I was unable to reach out to my friends because I was terrified I would be intruding by texting them and that they couldn't possibly actually like me. While that was pretty extreme, I think a lot of people have more mild versions of that going on.

Now I'm the reaching out guy, and I hold it as like, "I'm filling my social niche by being the stable one rn"

Dudes who say you need to be 6 ft and make 6 figures to get laid need to explain line cooks.

OP lamenting that mechanics "can't" unionize.

Hearts in the right place, but a couple of things. Many dealership auto mechanics are unionized (usually with UAW, and usually only at big 3 dealerships). The other is that only consumer auto mechanics are non-union. Diesel mechanics and other industrial mechanics are union. They're also totally organizable. These shops are very vulnerable to work stoppages, and auto mechanics have difficult to learn skills, both of which are conducive to organizing.

Then someone asks "How would unions help shops acquire more staff?" One way is seniority. Basically, in a union shop, workers who stick around get better hours and higher wages. The other is "golden handcuffs" where union shops have wildly better healthcare and either a pension or generous 401k matching, making it costly for workers to switch jobs.

Despite it being a clear violation of labor law, he's been on record advocating for "boston pickets"

One of the (more legitimate) grievances put forward by the anarchists is that the bolsheviks ended elections in the soviets and replaced elected delegates with Bolshevik appointees. During the Civil War and consolidation it made sense, but the fact that the soviets weren't democratize again during peace time was a failing (although, obviously, the time between the Civil War and the German invasion was brief). I think that's probably what it was in reference to?

I think it's targeted at liberal allies who value freedom of assembly and speech, trying to get them to aid the anarchist cause. Anarchists already view the kkkourts as illegitimate.
