It's literally just the version before jagex bought it, with an option for a good-graphics front end

Okay, yesterday I asked you guys to help me revive https://www.buildandshoot.com/ (the slow paced arcadey trench shooter with minecraft building mechanics).

I'm gonna be playing on TactiCoolServer [Battlebots] and would love for yall to come join me.

https://www.buildandshoot.com/download/ has the game, its light weight. Build And Shoot Launcher is low res, OpenSpades is a good graphics frontend.

When I die, it'll be of something hypertension-related from living in the suburbs. Cremate me and throw my ashes on a car-brained urban planner.

I like it a lot, but I use the regular graphics because you scope in faster (since there's no animation) and I'm, unfortunately, very much a g*mer.

I'm always amazed by what labors of love randoms on the internet undertake. Someone even did a high-res front-end for it, called OpenSpades.

Palestinians have asked people to wear them. It is a symbol of solidarity, don't let your fear of accidentally being a little bit symbolically racist stop you from showing solidarity.

Hey comrades, I want your help reviving a game.

So there was this game, Ace of Spades, which was a WWII fps with the minecraft building mechanic. Super low res, super Indie and, get this, a shockingly good shooter with pacing similar to Red Orchestra or Squad but with a more arcade aesthetic.

The devs sold the game to a proper company, which turned it into a tf2 clone, and the entire community died.

A few fans kept it alive on https://www.buildandshoot.com/, but the player base has dropped from hundreds of people online at any time to like 40.

I would love if you guys would just take 10 minutes to check it out and if you like it tell your friends. It's free and very lightweight.

I just meant like the "the spectacle is too entrenched, revolution is impossible" thing he gets on.

I skipped recc'ing it just because it gets kinda bleak

It's to have a less compulsive relationship to my phone. What I ended up doing was setting a 5 minuet timer on Chrome, setting it to black and white, and switching to a text-only UI.

I'm not really a "remember when phones were just phones" guy. I'm more of a Bo Burnum / Richard Stalman style "social media is hijacking our brains" guy.

I'm addicted to my phone but really appreciate some of its functionalities and want the parts that are useful without the parts that are harming me.

This seems the simplest, thanks

The law allows tickets of up to 500 dollars and 60 days in jail. Mutual aid activists have called it "war on the unhoused." West Palm Beach FnB has been ticketed over 25 times under this law.

From a prefigurative perspective, this is socializing 7.5 million people to participate in a communist economy. It can't happen without toppling the capitalists, but it's a neccesary step.

Most "fashion advice" is catered to either rich people looking to waste money, or midwesterners white collar workers trying to fit in at the office.

But if you go out in public, no one dresses like that. They're wearing a lot of canvas, denim and plaid, lots of face piercings and tattoos, hoodies and beanies. On the fancier end, you'll see oversized flannel jackers and dad sneakers. On older people it's a lot of carhartt and Patagonia.

Out in the suburbs younger people wear athleisure, and older people wear cargo shorts and t shirts.

But when you look at style guides it's like "your guide to chinos and blazers" but only the most obnoxious finance and tech bros wear that shit.

Where do you find style guides for normal people?
