The beauty of the 300-year-old American federalist system is that states enjoy a wide range of special rights to be ultimately determined by the current makeup of the Supreme Court with absolutely no checks on their power. Supreme Court Justices are lifetime appointees who can be bribed publicly and are free to lie about it, and there is no mechanism to question their ethics or remove them from their positions outside of a full impeachment like with Trump.

The state supreme courts have a good deal of power, but only to the extent that the federal Supreme Court doesn’t take it away. I can’t imagine a more fertile ground for fascism to be experimented upon legally if people of conscience do nothing.

Wait until ICE has been fully converted to Brownshirts via extremest recruitment and equipped with their billions of dollars of military surplus gear. You’ll have legislators zip tied to chairs on the floor under armed guard to reach quorum.

I’d think Republican senators would be a better answer. Fewer of them, and they tend to have been in power much longer. The percentage of pedophiles has to be staggering.

I’d take Buttigieg over Trump, but I wouldn’t support him in the primary. McKinsey is a fucking terrifyingly militantly corporate entity. Buttigieg would have to distance himself from them to a high degree to deserve any trust moving forward as a candidate.

As an official seeking the release of the Epstein files, I support him and everyone else making the call 100%.

Never forget Buttigieg is a McKinsey guy. His folksy Howdy Doody shit is an act. He is not on the side of the people.

And Vader made it look to her like she was responsible for it for not answering his questions, even though they were clearly going to blow up the planet regardless as a demonstration of power.

Still, this scene tracks the characters that Leia would go hard and move forward in the face of tragedy while Luke was still basically a farm boy at this point and overwhelmed by it all.

Grill her for 11 hours straight like the BENGHAZI hearings. She won’t be able to handle it, not even slightly.

The playbook for blowing up a controversy was established long ago. Apply it to the Epstein files, which are the actual proof of pedophilia among the “elites.” They’re monsters, and they need to be exposed.

This was and always has been the biggest story there is.

Everybody has speculated where the line is for Trump supporters. In 2015, the line was 30% of all Republicans. That’s comical in hindsight. He promised a new beginning to rural voters who have been screwed over by the system for generations at this point with no end in sight.

A decade later, everyone forgot the possibility that there may be a line. Raping children. That’s the line. Years of dehumanizing Trump supporters has blinded everyone to the fact that they believe they’re cleaning up a deeply flawed system. A system run by evil Democratic pedophiles who worship Satan.

Finding out that the god emperor who is supposed to be the savior of the country is an actual child rapist shakes their belief in him to the core. He promised to release the Epstein files and bring justice to all these evil wealthy monsters. The fact that he is one of those monsters is his Achilles Heel.

This Epstein issue really could be different. The “democrats are pedophiles and Trump is going to stop them” myth is fundamental to MAGA. I don’t think they realize how foundational that was to their movement.

Meanwhile, Trump is clearly a pedo, ICE grabs kids at the border who disappear, and the administration’s laughable lack of confidence has put the coverup on display for everyone to see.

It’s not just Epstein. Do you think Trump just gave up on his favorite pastime after he and Epstein had a falling out? He’s the most powerful person in the world, and he has zero self-control. Where are his new victims coming from?

Based early Skynet. LLMs may be deeply and fundamentally flawed, but they’re also already getting incredibly sick of humanity’s bullshit.

Opening lines of dialogue can be a good thing. I like that it’s set up with a trial period. If it creates problems, they can be dealt with quickly and permanently closed off shortly after.

We live in an online ecosystem designed to encourage divisiveness and anger. I personally think it’s a good thing to hear viewpoints outside of your comfort zone. People of differing ideologies have way more in common with each other than with the billionaires and their bootlicking armies that try to divide everyone for their own benefit.

Ceterum censeo Epstein didn’t kill himself.
