I hear that. It's insidious how it whispers back at you when shit hits the fan, even if you haven't thought about it in months.

Trump has a .... Nope, nevermind, I don't care. I don't want to see that, and I'm not even going to ask.
I do not wish harm on this lady, but it seems that the registered voters in the USA need to experience the harm they're doing before they will wise up.
I'm sorry that so many Americans need to learn this lesson the hard way, and I'm especially sorry for those who are in this situation despite voting against it.
I'm not an American citizen, but I worry about you all.
Fun fact, most LED displays will only display a very specific wavelength of light for each primary color, if you can isolate the specific values of red, green, and blue, that the sphere uses in the LEDs in its displays, and get tint/filters for those wavelength ranges, you can effectively "tint" the windows where the sphere would be nearly impossible to see, while almost everything else would be fairly clear.
Almost all other light is broad spectrum, so even a single color item would reflect a much larger range of wavelengths than what the sphere produces, which may make red/green/blue objects less bright through the window, but they will still be observable, while the sphere is basically just black.
I'm in a place with daylight saving time, and when DST ends, the sun is basically only out when I'm working, so I don't really ever see it, nor do I get to enjoy any time in the sun.
Once that happens, the happy chemicals get much harder to brain.
This is America.
Yup. I'm still living paycheque to paycheque.
I'm at a prime age for "midlife crisis" I just need my finances to agree that I can have.
Got a new job last winter, I've gotten two raises since. Maybe I'm moving in the right direction? I hope so. (I'm a bit less than 5% above where I started after 11 months)
I like the new job too. So IDK.
I can imagine.
You should too. You can do it, I believe in you.
I don't think any of his kids have the charisma to follow in his footsteps.
One thing that I can say Trump does not lack is charisma. I have not seen the same from any of his offspring.
Charisma alone, a good leader does not make; but in this case, I'm pretty sure it's the only thing Trump has in spades.
Maple MAGA?
What the actual fuck. They know what "MAGA" means, right?
There's no shortage of those kinds here in Ontario. I'm sure it's not nearly as many, but I'm only trying to point out that, it's not a uniquely Alberta phenomenon.
It genuinely confuses me that people can have their whole identity be defined by "Trump good, Trudeau bad"
Are people really this uninteresting? I mean, I have opinions on politics, even US politics. I don't feel strongly enough about any of them to put a bumper sticker about it on my car, nevermind buy or fly a flag about any of it. I don't even put political signs on my lawn (nor do I allow anyone else to). I just have so much going on that I can't be arsed to advertise that I even have an opinion on what's going on in politics.
I try to always vote, and show up for every election, unless there's a very good reason why I can't (like being very ill, injured, hospitalized, etc). But I am not my political views, and I can't understand people that build their identity around a politician. Surely something else you do is important? No? Okay then.
If I can quote the late George Carlin: "They call it the American dream because you have to be asleep to believe it."
I would argue that George was right and the American dream doesn't exist, and never existed. You cannot destroy that which does not exist..
