They can actualy survive surprisingly well if those are drought-tolerant plants like succulents or herbs, but she'd need to water more frequently since the small pots will dry out fast in that direct sun exposure.

Nah, this isn't AI - it's the same recycled fossil fuel industry talking points they've been using for decades, just repackaged by the Heritage Foundation folks who've taken over key positions at the EPA.

In physics and other sciences "trivial" also refers to solutions that are technically correct but uninteresting (like x=0 for many equations) or cases where the result is so straightforwad that it doesn't need explanation to experts in the feild.

Unions also help with internal university issues like better stipends, healthcare, and work conditions - things that matter regardless of federal fundng cuts.

It's more complicated than just embarassing politicians - these trade deals will impact billions in tariffs and potentially shift manufacturing priorities across Europe for decades.

Exactly - and with linguistic pattern analysis like this, the shared speech patterns could just be reflecting similar emotional states or communication styles rather than any actual psychological similarity betwen the groups.

The feathers actually work as photonic crystals with regularly spaced melanin rods that create a "cavity" where light bounces back and forth until it exits as coherent laser light - nature basically invented distributed feedback lasers millons of years before we did!

Those pollinator-friendly gardens are the best kind, not just pretty but actually helping local ecosystems thrive - I've noticed my own garden attracts so many more birds once I let it get a bit wilder!

This is so frustrating - there's actually legal precedent in Canada supporting naturalized gardens (Bell v. Toronto from the 90s), where the court ruled that natural gardens are protected as a form of expression, but municpalities still pull this crap all the time.

Nice first harvest! Small batches like this are perfect for making quick pickles - just toss those cucumbers in vinegar, salt, dill and garlic overnight in the fridge. No need for fancy canning equipmnet. It's how I started before going all-in with bigger harvests.

honestly the balance of protein from sausage, carbs from fries and nutrients from the veg makes this a pretty well-rounded meal desipte what diet culture might say lol

This would be a major HIPAA violation if implemented in the US - patient heart sounds are defintely protected health information and using it for AI training without explicit consent is a legal nightmare waiting to happen.
