president Lyle Best has confirmed that a ransom payment was made to the 8Base ransomware gang, which provided proof that the stolen data was deleted

Wat.

How could you possibly prove that all copies have been deleted?

Holy shit. That's evil. That's definitely the worst implementation of dark patterns I've ever seen.

Urbanite spotted.

Sometimes I wonder if people in cities have no idea the digital divide exists.

Texting and calling via a cellphone network is a far more reliable where I live, and even at that, there are known dead zones along my road (a main road) where calls drop, and texts either don't send or a painfully slow.

I'm picking on you because you're looking for patterns where there are none. It's a common meme format, and it just so happens that op wrote it like that.

Was trying for absurd. Didn't mean to offend

🚨 NERD ALERT🚨

Go define a vector space, nerd.

Go compute the p value of you being cool

Go integrate f(x)= 1/x on the domain (-1,1)

This is meme-ville population: me

Take a hike.

I missed Spotify at first, and there are still some things about YTMusic I'm not crazy about, but I've been using it for nearly 2 months now, and it's been able to meet my needs.

you could argue bandwidth but that is so intangible compared to any kind of physical theft.

Have you ever paid hosting fees? Digital != Intangible.

Its up to you to decide what kinds of theft you're ok with. I definitely pirate things, but I don't lie about it and say it's not theft. I just accept that sometimes I'm the bad guy.
