I'm in a very conservative state and until recently I worked in hospitals around the country. You would not believe the amount of times I've heard covid conspiracy shit from actual healthcare workers. The most common one is that it's just the flu, but when anyone died for any reason at the time they put down covid as cause of death. Why would anyone do this? I guess it doesn't have to make sense. Just to hazard a guess I'd say more than half of the people in my state believe some form of covid conspiracy or disinformation.

This is it. And even after lying, cheating, and stealing his way through life he still managed to bankrupt seven businesses including a casino. If he had put his inheritance in a market index fund he'd be fabulously wealthy. Instead he's been pretending to be a billionaire for 40 years.

The funny thing is, after all that, he finally is a billionaire for real because of truth social of all things.

All white people look the same.

Straight men who are secure in their sexuality have no problem talking about how attractive another man is.

The Donner Party was definitely common knowledge among kids in the 90s.

The national debt is complicated, but a slightly inaccurate way to simplify it is that this is money owed by the United States to the United States. Yeah China owns a chunk of it and so do other countries, but the majority of it doesn't matter when it comes to economics. The US is far from bankrupt financially. Morally though...

Medical care in prison is better than not having insurance. He can go to prison and tell the COs he's going to tariff the commissary.

People say it that way where I live but don't spell it that way unless they mean a nice word for bullshit.

But if poor white Americans die they don't make more poor white Americans to support fascism and die in war.

You're probably right though.

Agreed 💯. I wasn't talking about her specifically, just the way words have changed meaning over time, specifically in the US.

I misread the title as South Africa so at first I was like what the fuck are you even talking about.

Actual answer: slavery, the civil war, then segregation, then Jim Crow, then redlining, and through all of it slave labor through prisons that disproportionately hold black people. All these things create generational poverty as well. Now it is seen in the attacks on woke and DEI. The United States is profoundly racist.
