Good point. I know that and don't know why I did the math that badly.

They were originally part of the Navy, an amphibious force to attack from the sea. Obviously the need for that has very much declined. They are now an independent branch of the military but are technically still in the Department of the Navy.

I guarantee you food service is more difficult than any job he's ever had.

Just so you know, regular vodka won't burn, at least not easily. You'd need high test moonshine or equivalent. Much better to use gasoline. If you get bored you could even play a little game by dissolving styrofoam in it.

I have done plenty of drugs but I also used to be a major alcoholic. Alcohol is one of the hardest drugs on earth. I still struggle with it sometimes.

T bag loves a good wall. The problem every time secession comes up is it's not north vs south anymore, it's city versus rural. I live in a small city in one of the most conservative states in the US. My state voted for Trump by the highest margin in the nation, both times.

From where I'm sitting right now on my porch, I can see two pride flags flying in my immediate neighborhood. Our mayor is a Democrat and she's actually not horrible.

But if you go just a bit outside the city, those pride flags are replaced by traitor flags. You almost completely stop seeing nonwhite people, just a bit outside the tiny cities.

It's not that bad everywhere, but if you think there aren't a shitload of bootlicking fascists in rural California you will be very surprised. 38% of the state voted for Trump. ~~More than 15~~ Roughly 6 million Californians. EDIT- I mathed bad

I don't know what's going to happen, but I doubt secession is in the cards for anyone unless the Union is dissolved.

I learned on he xbear that Ukraine is the most fascist place in the world and the leader of the country, who is Jewish, glorifies Nazis. It was very educational, but not in the way they intended.

Fucking hate cop talk. The language they use in their reports is disgusting. They probably have a template that they just slightly modify. Template is already full of lies.

I would just call it a house or a home. The implication for starter home to me is this is just until I get rich. Maybe I'm alone in thinking that way but I don't care for people discussing their wealth publicly when so many have nothing.

Yes, I'm lucky enough that I could afford a home at that cost, with a mortgage of course. But I'm not getting much work right now (freelance contractor) and it could end up being a bad decision. So we stay in our $750 per month rented house for now.

I'm not calling you out specifically, I hope you don't take offense, but I really hate the term "starter home". Most of us will never own a home of any size so it comes off bougie.

I thought they had German at least in a simplified version?
