I was floored at how easy it was to get it to run Breath of the Wild, and then I discovered the 60fps patch for the game. Pretty quickly sold my old Switch after that.

Spoken like someone who didn't read Heretics and Chapterhouse. Those are definitely the most movie-adaptable of the entire series. Perfect balance between action, philosophy and sex for a great movie or series.
I bought 2 SteamDecks for a Makerspace I run (so the students could try their Godot games on it). Both of them are now also being used as a bonus workstation, plugged to keyboard/mouse/display with a USB-C dock, and used as a mini pc for 3D modeling and printing. without any issues. Blender, OnShape and PrusaSlicer all work without a single problem.

Denmark. I understand Swedish, Norwegian and German. I speak Danish, English and Dutch.
Enjoy the adventure! Such great games. The Legendary Edition and the SteamDeck is a match made in heaven, except for the piece-of-shit that is the EA launcher/app.
I never thought about it until now, but isn't this classic visualisation of Atlas carrying the world kind of wrong? He held up the sky and not the entire earth, right?
It's even on sale right now, because of the ugly figurehead on the front
I really hope other publishers will be inspired. Just yesterday I had an hour to kill on a train ride, and wanted to play some Mass Effect on my SteamDeck. It took 25 minutes just to get started, because EA updated their required launcher, which couldn't be bypassed because it required Internet connection, and then forced the update (which of course bugged out, and had to be redone thrice). A 25 minute boot time for something that doesn't affect the game the slightest is a terrible user experience.
