Has ISIS ever really operated in Russia? I don't think I've heard of anything like that before. I did a quick search of "Russia and ISIS" in Google, filtering out today for obvious reasons, and I don't really see anything. I'm just really doubtful off the whole thing with no prior history.

We almost have a shutdown every half a year at this point. No matter what, they exempt or extend military funding before preventing or allowing a shutdown. The war machine always gets to continue.

It's almost comical that the government is close to shutting down and I'm learning about it a few hours before the deadline. We in the US truly live in a failed state if a government shutdown is, in a way, barely news anymore.

Completely reasonable thing for Russia to do. Turkey has been a candidate member or something for about two decades now. The remaining Balkan countries can't even get to the same status as Turkey. Russia doesn't have to do anything since they know EU membership is never going to happen for Ukraine.

It happened almost a year ago that India passed China in the population estimates. Easy to miss or forget.

It's a little weird that points 1-6 are primarily for the US and Russia and then at the end they guess they'll talk about Ukraine. If this is true I'd want to consider this as what the US and Russia are willing to pretend they will concede to the other.

I would expect this to be the starting point for any real negotiations that happen after whatever triggers the legitimate start of negotiations. I would think there would be more granular detail about Ukraine being demilitarized and having responsibilities to protect minority rights.

Militarily, if the treaty is valid to 2040 then Ukraine will only have the young people who have been born shortly before and after the war. There is no ability for them to have any national strength to fight Russia at that point based on demographics. Also, it's reasonable to assume that the relative power of the imperialists has declined by that point as well. We already see the US losing strength in a lot of ways but we can't know how strong they'll be in 2040.

Again, that all assumes this document is real.

Bespoke: the Russian government is illegitimate because it is rightfully a part of the Mongol empire.

That actually makes sense to explain the numbers and why they get so close to 100%. They could just ignore neutral options too. Also, I now remember my high school teacher saying both of our political parties would get 40% of the vote regardless of who they ran for president.

I guess now I'm wondering what the floor for his approval ratings is. Time will tell, but by then he will have served his purpose for the ruling class.

Image of the President of the Republic, Javier Milei: Negative 57.3% Positive 42.3%

I'm just wondering how he can have that high of support as he throws what's left of the economy into an active volcano. Like please enlighten me if you can.

Even in its best argument immunity debt can only really make sense for one flu season and for children specifically. I do believe it to a degree but in a marginal way. More like "oh your newborn hasn't gotten chickenpox" instead of how much they try to attribute to it. We are long past the point where it affects anything.
