Reminds me of the articles talking about how the UK has a gdp per capita of Missouri(a strange comparison thats kind of true). Imperialism really is a fuck with how US wages can be so bloated that gdp per capita of Missouri can be as high as that of Britain. Both propped up by imperialism and the dying vestiges of their social democratic phases with different particulars.

"We will not be intimidated. Our country is sovereign and no one is going to impose their authoritarian will and enforce the logic that money makes their 'business model' above the Federal Constitution," he wrote.

This does show the need for countries to claw back sovereignty in digital spaces. my-hero being a petulant child that brings back people posting child porn for "free speech" might actually make the internet toxic enough that it starts getting regulated. There's also the chance that the internet starts getting more fragmented if this process really gets going.

This Sunday, the billionaire posted a picture of Moraes and said that he is the "Darth Vader" of Brazil, in reference to the villain from the Star Wars film franchise.

Also, he wants to be cool so bad, but by God is he a loser.

NOOOOO Taiwan is supposed to be a ~~corporate oligarchy~~ free and democratic nation. They're supposed to ~~die for Raytheons profits~~ fight valiantly against communism. These ~~ungrateful orientals~~ freedom loving people are now going to suffer under Mr. Jinpings full communist 1984 redfash dictatorship.

stonks-up with Ukraine needing more weapons to resist Putler. Europe will also be needing more weapons since they'll be joining the war as the blocking detachments since most of the azov guys are dead now.

I can sort of make an argument for harm reduction and that the uniparty is real. The overall class interests of both parties are the same since they're both owned by Wall Street but there are particulars for how they're different. This is because they are different factions within the uniparty that have different voting bases. This results in voting for democrats essentially being voting for the monstrous face of capital to wear a nicer mask and to be less homophobic. There is a difference between how they function as well. Basically the ratchet effect also means that if you don't want things to get worse at a faster rate you have to vote for the democrats.

This is all stuff at the federal level though. At the state level republicans just do whatever they want to viciously seize power and the democrats act like boring middle managers.

Ultimately, Capital always wins but if someone wants to take the time to vote for a marginally slower decline into American fascism I won't argue against them.

It's always weird with distances but I think it goes by geographic center. That's why whenever I guess a big country like Russia it gives weird distances since the center of Russia is in the middle of Siberia. Also, if it's a weird angle it does its best with direction. Also, what the fuck is a kilometer?

It's weird how often McDonalds has been brought up in the news thread. There was russian knock off McDonalds being started up and this is just a followup to the different McDonalds branches taking opposing positions after October 7th. Like, what will happen to McDonalds when President Xi opens the third front in Taiwan?

I only listen to the videos on his YouTube channel. Generally decent politics makes it easier to bear and it's entertaining enough. There's also less chat bs popping up unless it's funny.

Actually watching streams live has always been kinda boring to me. It's like watching something live that hasn't started yet and you don't know when something actually interesting or important will happen.

And those numbers were always going to be an undercount anyway due to the nature of the war. Hard to confirm the dead in a pile of rubble while the hospitals are being attacked.

Is it decades of neoliberalism and the austerity enforced after the financial crisis? Is it having a black man as president triggering the racism lobe of the angloid brain? No it's all the Republicans fault.

They can only understand things in great man theory and they only look at history to justify things they already believe.

"We live in a free country without state planning/control." Except that we don't. We live in one large corporate state.

When I'm older and all the corporations have merged together I look forward to being buried in a Ronald McDonald coffin that will take my future children 10 years, at least, to pay off.

What the fuck is that chart? I know I've seen things like this but they have chapotraphouse on there and they have chapo as more politically biased than ~~Sean Hannity~~ fucking info wars.

Like, I know what purpose this serves in the manufacturing of consent and all that, but what brain damaged neanderthal made this?
