Can't wait for all the news programs to run more stories about Iran's breakout time for nukes to be like a week and a half for like five months straight and then them actually having them. Nuclear weapons are decades old technology at this point and Iran already has a civilian nuclear program. Iran could have nukes within a year if they really wanted to.

Bonus points when you can use the same outlet/author in the before and after.

It's fucking awesome that we get to sort of return to the gilded age. Everything just became shit and expensive but in different ways to the original gilded age. We also don't get an expanding and modernizing society since our capitalists can't in any way be viewed as captains of industry.

You clearly do not understand America. It would be disrespectful to the soul of this country if the pentagon didn't run on about 20 shitty fast food restaurants in its food court.

China’s unprecedented exporting success, in turn, stems from the rapid automation of Chinese industry, which now installs more industrial robots per year than the rest of the world combined.

It's a Chinese century and we're just living in it. The dragon truly does rise.

People keep saying they think events are the suez crisis for America. I definitely think we're in a major transition period but we need more touchstones and reference points. Not everything can be the suez crisis or some event in the fall of Rome.

This is literally indistinguishable from a redditor. We are in Reddit hell.

I'm incredibly sympathetic to the argument that both pop culture and the power of the internet algorithms, like the marvel movies and tiktok respectively, have been warping us all into soy liberals. The capitalist culture has become more homogenized by standardization and we're all treat brained enjoyers of the spectacle. These things bleed into real life too much and eradicating this will be a priority of the re-education camps once they are established.

God damn, when their propaganda isn't just denying throwing orphans into the orphan grinder, it's so comically bad.

They probably also have no idea how to hit Iran in a way that prevents Iran from destroying their military overnight. Like, Israel spent so many missiles creating rubble in Gaza but there's no way they have enough to destroy Iran's offensive capabilities. There's really no way Israel can hit Iran without getting owned.

We can only begin to imagine the new design fuck ups with anything Musk touches. Each company that gets his inputs gets to unleash new tech horrors upon us with each new product it creates, except for SpaceX for the most part but that's got NASA oversight for a lot of contracts.
