You're 100% right and anyone that tries to dunk on you needs to read history

Internet leftists spend too much time with in-group/out-group dynamics and learning from memes. The real world is complex, what constitutes a good or bad strategy is wholely contextual.

And broadly speaking, violence outside of organized strategy or a party is usually adventurism and counterproductive.

Fr there's cringe compilations on YouTube for people who desperately need that superiority complex fulfilled

Like it's not just that people have different interests, this kinda shit is actively harmful and counterproductive to advancing leftism, and it's a mindset/culture that spreads to the entire site if allowed to fester.

And anything that makes it harder for self-identified leftists to be terminally online is good in my book.

I don't watch him other than occasional highlights but I've yet to see any reason that he shouldn't be considered a net positive in the quasi-political entertainment sphere.

He's not competing with Lenin or Castro or Sankara, he's competing with vaush and the like. With that standard he represents a lot of potential wrt a leftist cultural influence, particularly within the cishet manospere.

Our small org's current book is If We Burn, alongside the DSA national I believe. I'm hoping it gets pulled into the general western leftist consciousness so we can avoid some of these pitfalls. Can't afford to keep repeating the same mistakes every 10 years

I like comrade having connotations of communist tho, I hope that doesn't get generalized.

It's a normal part of speech in like half of statesian dialects, including AAVE

Having grown up with it I honestly think it's weirder not to have a gender-neutral second-person pleural pronoun.
