I'm sorry but although your objective is to rewire your neurons, in order to be understood by others with precision you would have to first change culture - and that takes a long, long time.
So in English you probably don't have good substitutes that don't sound religious outside of those you already mentioned and their varieties. I'd be asking a similar question to people who speak other languages, that can be fun to explore and see what other cultures use instead of "fucking hell" or "holy shit" if they have translatable expressions that don't include anything religious.
Similarly in Spanish OP, we say estadounidense as the demonym for something from USA. We often use americano interchangeably though, but that gives room for confusion sometimes.
I think you should have posted this in Unpopular Opinions hah. I don't give much weight to it and, as long as everyone knows what you mean by American when you say it is fine, so I don't necessarily agree with your opinion that it hurts the rest of the continent. But as far as semantics go we both know the question is about as old as the country itself.

Many would find it stupid, but those people don't share your sense of humor and you would never get along with them in the first place.
So go and put the picture, it will help weed out people you don't want to waste your time with. You'll only get those who either don't mind or who actually think it's funny too.

And yes, having friends is a solid indication that these people can be dated. It's also a potential indicator that they can not just date but establish a relationship, even if an unhealthy one. It doesn't guarantee they will though.
People who can't make any sort of friendship can never get into any relationship, period. This is obvious. This conversation is getting pretty obvious.
