That's only true if you don't look under the covers.

Spoilers: there's a furry orgy hiding beneath.

I find it really amusing that furries are probably the most unique American subculture, yet we get shunned by most Americans. Go figure lmao.

If it helps, most of us hate what's going on. Even a lot of republican voters have woken up and realized what's going on. Sadly, however, it's too late.

Mhm, that's why I'm glad I finally have hrt though my brain is still pretty fried.

What do you want me to say, girl (guy?)? It's shitty, it sucks, but I know you can make it through this. Most of us have had to go through stuff like this.

You can do this, alright? It's only 4 more weeks.

Yep. I know that feeling. There's a reason my brain is pretty fried at this point.

At least you're not having to wait a decade like I did. It sucks, but you'll survive.

Thank you so much. I'm not the only one who could use this; I have friends who also need a way out.

Thanks for the link!

Species dysphoria is a real thing. It's weird, I don't know why it exists, but I know it's real because I experience it. I have friends who experience it. I don't understand why people choose to gatekeep over something they don't understand.

Especially other trans people.

Like, damn, you're not gonna win over the people who hate trans people by giving them a peace offering of throwing people under the bus. Just accept that some people may find their species to be dysphoria-inducing like some people find their gender to be dysphoria-inducing. Why is it that hard?

Edit: I'll be honest, I don't think that species dysphoria makes you transgender, I think that's a misapplication of the gender concept; like trying to classify a fish as a mammal. You absolutely still count as trans imo tho.

I wish I could immigrate to the EU. Sadly afaik I'm considered completely worthless by the EU governments. Yay for being trans. Yay.

Edit: to explain, I don't have any marketable skills. I have some disabilities. So I'm stuck in the US as a trans person. No one's gonna take someone who has disabilities, and the fact that I'm trans means the longer I live in the US, the more likely it'll be that I'll be hauled off to El Salvador or Guantanamo.

Edit 2: on top of that, if they successfully ban gender affirming care in the US, which I bet they will, I'm not even sure I'm gonna bother trying to get refugee status anywhere. I'll probably just put a bullet through my head. I'm no one special, why would anyone want me, a worthless American?

At least you can have a pet rat and there are plenty of guides on what to feed them.

[–] MossyFeathers@pawb.social 8 points 4 months ago (3 children)

God meant for opossums to be pets and just wanted humans to do some selective breeding to increase their lifespans.

Humans decided their fur was too soft and they looked too much like rats. Obviously the only course of action was to kill them.

I love humans /s

I imagine this creature would probably be almost entirely invisible under water and look like just a pair of eyes and a spine.

What if there are bigger fish?
