That rules
Mokey
I went to a jam session last night, but ive been so exhausted from work. I think my time has gotten so much better but this time I didnt know two out of three tunes
Darn that Dream East of the Sun and West of the Moon
The one I knew was How High the Moon.
I was channeling my Brian Blade but I feel out of touch, i havent been playing or practicing as much. I dont want to work anymore its not fair all these white kids can atleast do a scary thing and fail and I feel like i cant even try.
I was so exhausted i saw a friend i havent seen in 10 years but i get myself to snap out of it. Shes been doing good and gave me a spot to check out for my trip
I feel like i live in an alien world to these people, i never feel comfortable anywhere and im an outsider everywhere. I despise the people i work with and i feel out of place with musicians. One of these kids complained about having to start work at 8am. Please shut the fuck up man youre so lucky and you dont even know it.
Considering you need minimum scores higher than 60 to do certain jobs and theyre whining about recruitment rates being low id disagree
You cant be perm disqualified for low asvab test, thats fake news. He might of cheated or had a dq'd medical issue while happening to have a low asvab
I dont think its mandatory unless your school makes it mandatory. I went to a shitty poor high school and we didnt do that, despite being there target audience
PT standards for Marines minimum. But even bare minimum is hard in US the obesity rate leader, not factoring in height and weight.
The medical stuff has gotten way more complicated and they can track anything that was reported to a hospital.
If you are diligent and smart enough to train to get your run time and fitness to that point youre likely diligent and smart enough to pass an easy military test.
The people who are trying to join are not that and thats what im trying to point out.
ASVAB is a military test they use to see what jobs youre qualified for and if you meet minimum standards
Being low test scores isnt a permanent disqualifier, they can waiver you in if you ride the line. something medically most likely. Probably too much water in the brain
I knew someone who did recruiting and they said that kids would pretty regularly not pass the practice test and/or get single digit scores. They also said that every now and then theyd get someone who couldnt read at all.
Yes lol, didnt stop rotc being in the school and brainworming the kids tho
