I didn’t watch it but Kagi universal summarizer says:

  • The podcast hosts are knowledgeable about photography and cameras, but sometimes get sidetracked in their discussions and miss important details.
  • New smartphone features like AI photo editing need to be properly explained and evaluated, not just dismissed, as the technology is still evolving.
  • Hardware changes alone may not warrant an annual new smartphone model release. Software improvements need to provide clear value.
  • There is a lack of representation of the full Android ecosystem in discussions, which is more diverse than just Samsung and Google phones.
  • Certain Android phones are pushing the boundaries of mobile photography further than what is available in North America.
  • Exposure and frame rate stability are important factors for video that deserve more consideration.
  • Collecting one's own user data is important for AI development rather than relying solely on cloud solutions.
  • Copyright and data ownership need better legal frameworks as AI develops.
  • The podcast could benefit from having more knowledgeable Android users participate in discussions.
  • While criticism is valid, it is best delivered respectfully and constructively rather than dismissively.

I can say my Hue lights from long before Matter fulfill this promise with the firmware-upgraded bridge I got like 7 years ago. I hate that the brand is so expensive but they got it right the first time.

Are heat pumps pretty good in the Atlantic region? In Calgary no installer would recommend one, and only one quoted (high) last year.

I think the city is crazy to think they can recover it, but it sounds like both houses were probably worthy of demolition and the owner just got it done for free.

An occupied house in good condition wouldn’t be mistaken for the wrong one.

Close to 10 years ago I ran into a subscription clinic in Calgary. At the time they said the funds went to pay for paramedical services rather than physician services. I wonder if that’s technically permissible.

At any rate, I can’t afford private healthcare so I didn’t go with them.

It’s good for them to branch out. I found the studio to be hit and miss for my taste, but loved Psychonauts 2. Broken Age, in contrast, I found boring. I hope they lean into action on their new projects.
