Here to complain about dating apps or rather what people do on dating apps, most recently the "I don't chat on here, so add me on Instagram" and so I did and then I did all the heavy lifting with the chat and as soon as I left it alone, they didn't message. I've worked really hard to no longer expect instantaneous responses and I've accepted that people don't owe me their time, however, if you suggest we add each other on a social media app, a little bit of chat not started by me would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately she needs a particular system that is installed onto the computer, that can be used on computers using windows or Mac systems but not the chrome system. The web based won't do what she needs.
Edit: it's some form of work from home system and has access to share drives etc

Backstory is, my mum bought an HP Chromebook for work, not realising that she can't get windows/Microsoft suite on it which she needs for work but she can't get a refund from JB Hi-Fi as she threw away the box. I listed it on Facebook marketplace but it's had next to no interest.

Sometimes I feel like an absolute void of nothingness, no one truly cares for ME, no one reaches out via message, I hang out with friends sometimes, but we're not super close. I just feel alone.
