when i was a kid i was obsessed with richard sherman, i must have been in grade 5/6 so
around 10 or 11 years old. we had to do a presentation for class on someone we admired and my presentation was on richard sherman. i dmed him on instagram to ask him questions for my presentation and he answered! it was the highlight of my life at the time and i would not stop talking about it. every conversation i had with someone id have to bring up how richard sherman replied to me and “helped me on my project.”
i also met his mom at a seahawks game when i was a kid and she is an absolute sweetheart. i remember feeling like i had met a celebrity when i talked with his mom.
