I was at a restaurant earlier this year, and I actually saw someone take a picture of their food, screen shot that picture, and send it on their messaging app of choice. Was so cool seeing it happen in person in my tiny town, and not just in the big cities or the internet

I'm curious on what features does Windows have other other OSes. Just gaming? Music and video editing can be on MacOS. Linux can do everything else.

Do you think Superhero fatigue is a thing? I haven't enjoyed a super hero movie since Logan (I watched endgame and all that with friends. Enjoyed the company over the movies). So for me, both Superman and Fantstic 4 is a miss.

Yet you watched both. Are you still excited with superhero movies?

Is this how early fans felt at the end of season 1 / start of season 2?

I didn't like movie 2. This trailer doesn't excite me to watch movie 3. Will probably still watch it.

Let's say I do book an appointment, get the test(s), and it's positive. Now what? Do I show it to my boss the get easier tasks? How much can/will an official diagnosis affect my life? (In Australia if it helps)

Cop Rock - He's Guilty comes to mind whenever I hear the phrase gospel music.

I only heard this one song. Have the playlist bookmarked, but haven't gotten around to listening to the rest.

How do I change the USB notification sound to animeSqueak.mp3? Asking for a friend

Huh. Every time I ask Cat a question, they just reply with 'give me more food'. I don't think it can be trusted...

I'm getting The Death of Stalin vibes from the guys on the left and right.

It appears to be a serious video too. Lost brain cells watching it, so I don't reccomend

Cant wait for the day I can delete Discord and never look back.

1hr+ for a general update* (following the guide. Pre-kernel)

On a more serious note, gentoo is fun... On competent hardware. This is a 4 core Celeron N2940 with 4gb of RAM.

*emerge --ask --verbose --update --deep --changed-use @world is too long to type...

On the one hand, my father lost his dad when he was 12, so he is not perfect. I want to assume he is atleast trying his best. But this past year, "his best" was "OK with punching his children" and as far as I know, hasnt seen his grand children. (My sister has a kid. Living happy with her partner. Since sister and partner is not married, my dad doesnt acknowlege them.)

Im OK with skipping the birthday text to father, but mother (who i still talk to) insist i send the text.

Younger brother asking how to get earn minecoins. You cant. Have to buy them. That dissapointment in his voice. The heart break i feel as the older brother.

Cant imagine on christmas, parenta go all in on the new system and popular game, then to realise that thier child cant have the max amount of fun* without paying extra.

On a more serious note, how does updating apps on gentoo work? I understand that everything is built on your system, but then if the app is updated, do you need to re-compile every time?

Before I moved here, this was easily a trick question. All made up answers. (And im ashamed to know the answer)

Too embarassed to tell anyone I know IRL, but am excited for my new future. Been throwing alot of money with small things. PC, alcohol, movies (and im ashamed to say, funko pops). Recently i took the plunge and cut out alcohol in an attempt to get my life together, and i feel like i have a whole new start.
