If it doesn't stop it from eating and doesn't get infected somehow I guess it wouldn't necessarily kill it. I don't remember if it was eating but it moved around normally.

It almost looks like a piercing. There was no way to catch the fish and remove it but it seemed to be doing alright.

Oof, sadly these are maybe the only decent phones keeping an SD card and headphone jack. Not sure what else to get for my next phone.

No suggestions but an opinion on the Sony Xperia line. If size is the most important factor keep in mind that the "long" aspect ratio makes it awkward to hold for its size and may have more trouble fitting into pockets than other small phones. If you don't mind the lack of sd/headphone jack a Pixel is probably better.

Want to share some of those writers? It's not easy to find books that are actually disturbing.

I like proton's app but I don't know if you can use it with a different provider.

Gmail actually has a 'Mark as read' button on the notification now (finally). It's a new addition so it may not have reached you yet.

It does look like a mud dauber and, for what it's worth, they don't attack humans like wasps (at least where I am). If it's not doing any damage you could possibly even let it be and they'll be gone after the summer.

Any extra points for hitting the "Finished the feature?" square three times for the same feature?

The houses were being rented to locals who are now pushed out so the houses can be offered as much more expensive airbnbs.

In the meantime, we're already verifying signatures for sideloaded apps. Can't say the same about play store apps.

Not entirely ambidextrous but yes. And then you end up rearranging hand responsibilities so you can do some things at the same time.

You watched kids movies at school? I think we were only ever shown 3-4 movies that were relevant to the class (eg. The sound of music in English class) but I don't really remember them, they were pretty forgettable. The one I really liked though was 12 years a slave (in high school). It was really impactful and I wouldn't have watched it otherwise so appreciate that they decided we were mature enough for it.

Perfect spot too. So you can get to the middle of the lane and take your time climbing up that hill on your smallest gear.

At times I need to open the developer console/inspect element panel from my phone. The Kiwi browser allowed you to do that but its development has stopped. Are there any other browsers that have this function? Either chromium or firefox-based is fine. Alternatively, do you know of any other workarounds for this that do not involve a computer?

¡Buenas! Empieza lemmyvision otra vez.

Disclaimer: it feels like a lie to claim this is Athens as it usually looks nothing like this but this specific part was very pretty.

Some context here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thessaloniki_Metro

This seems to have flown under the radar a bit but it's a similar case to the metro project in Ho Chi Minh. It took an eternity to finish with the first hole being dug in 1989 and it finally opened to the public last month. It had become kind of a meme due to all the delays and changing of hands among now-bankrupt companies and with every government promising to open it (it's had at least two opening ceremonies years apart). Now a month later it's still having issues and is really small, mostly serving the center but it's the first driverless metro in Greece with modern stations and also featuring a museum so it's promising.

Well, future landmark. This was fun, kudos to those who did it the whole month.
