I'm using Memmy (https://github.com/gkasdorf/memmy) and even though it's still in testflight I'm socked with the vast amount of updates, you get pretty much one a day and features are building up very quickly. It gives me a similar experience as Apollo used to. RIP Apollo

Imagine if the same happened in USA every time an innocent is killed by a police officer.

I don’t speak German but don’t need to in order to understand and relate to the situation

Oh. I remember watching his video about a cheap rice cooker and learnt a lot. The coffee machine from the 70s as well was really fun. It’s impressive how these inventions work without microchips, temperature sensors etc.

My suggestion is to put the Lemmy app in the exact location the other app was. So when the muscle memory kicks in you open the right app. I am impressed myself about how many times a day I used to open the other one. Now I’m here instead :)

Who would imagine that. I’d much prefer a cubicle over an open office. Open offices are much cheaper to make so they try to sell us some bullshit to make it seem the best way forward.

I usually don’t pay attention to mod names, however, this name wasn’t an odd one to me somehow.

Then I tried to search for the name as I remember seeing in the past that a handful of mods owned 90% of the subreddits.

Bumped into this and now I know this mod was one of them.

Same for me. Lemmy still has some rough edges but even the apps that are available now are really good as they are. Improvements are happening at amazing speed. What we currently have is quite good in my opinion and this is the worst it will ever be, as we’ll have improvements on top of improvements, most apps and lemmy itself are open source, I believe that soon, instead of us feature pairing with reddit, it will be them trying to chase us up.

Link for people who don’t have a reddit account anymore. As now everything is unreviewed content and you need the app

Gives off a vibe of the white/silver version of monsters in breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom

Thanks for all the hard work your putting on this. Initially I thought that running an instance would pretty much have monetary cost only and not much time invested after things were set up. But looks like this is consuming your time as much as a full time job, all to make our experience better. Thanks a lot

Lol. Is this just a joke or is it from some crazy manga?
