ATLA is awesome. Worth enjoying at any age.

I've got a decent collection of stuff animals. They're nice.

I'm interested in this too. I've blocked a couple of domains, and that helps, but now and then they still pop up.

This was a fantastic read, thank you for sharing it!

I was never on LiveJournal, but I remember spending a lot of time on all sorts of random websites in the 90s and early 00s. Many hosted on Geocities, or Tripod, often with free forum software of some sort, making hundreds of tiny little communities. And over time, each one disappeared.

The fediverse gives me hope; it definitely has its problems, but fundamentally no single person owns the whole thing. Individual corners may come and go, but the network will remain, and that's awesome.

It just keeps happening 🍽🍴🔥 :(

Also seems better for seeing posts from smaller communities I'm subscribed to. Other settings, the big communities always end up at the top and I miss threads I'm otherwise interested in.

Very interested in others folks answers. Honestly, I follow a lot of people on Mastodon who share news. I also follow hashtags for my local area (and here on threadiverse, subscribed to communities focused on my local area). This seems to work okay but isn't quite the firehouse I'm used to.

Yeah! Kbin PWA is great. (Though there's a very small amount of sidescroll that makes my frontend web dev heart cry a bit... maybe I should open a pull request for it :))

Though it seems to override my screen orientation settings, making it hard to read while lying in bed XD

Okay but sometimes it's a really good question so surely they have good code too

Maybe a tangent, but what are the security implications of a password manager? It seems like it would replace many individual things that can go kinda wrong with one big single point of failure, which frightens me 😆

Happy to be wrong though. They definitely seem convenient.
