I would’ve said the tanning obsession, for health reasons, but that’s changed over the years.

Same, but I was born in the U.S. to parents who legally immigrated. I know we’re not being targeted right now, but I just worry about the possibility of going to war with China in the future. There were Japanese internment camps after all.

Honestly it’s way catchier than 50501 lol. Gets right down to the essence of what America is.

I think the bottom layer is condensed milk? What’s that top layer you got there? Some kinda whipped cream? I love Vietnamese coffee by the way!

Always sad when one of our music heroes dies. RIP to one of the world’s greatest songwriters and a true inspiration for those dealing with mental illness.

And he HATES Donald Trump lol. Newsom’s been spitting fire in the news. It certainly feels like things have finally gotten personal for him.

Saltwater corrodes firefighting equipment and may harm ecosystems, especially those like the chaparral shrublands around Los Angeles that aren’t normally exposed to seawater. Gardeners know that small amounts of salt – added, say, as fertilizer – does not harm plants, but excessive salts can stress and kill plants.

I can't believe this happened! This is such a mindfuck. How do you fire a GM after one year? No matter what happened with the Chargers, I thought Telesco did a good job actually, especially drafting.
I'm thinking this must mean the Raiders already have a coach coming that wants their own GM, someone with the cache to make that kind of demand, a la Pete Carroll, Ben Johnson, Bill Belichik (ugh) or Gruden.

Lions OC Ben Johnson — the top candidate in this year’s cycle — is scheduled to interview with four teams and has set up virtual meetings as follows:

  • Raiders & Patriots on Friday
  • Bears & Jaguars on Saturday

The Raiders have fired coach Antonio Pierce following a trying season, despite a flurry at the end, per me, @TomPelissero and @MikeGarafolo

One and done for Pierce, and Las Vegas is open once again.

His answer is the octopus. What say you?

Just throwing one up

P.S pls mods can we have weekly game threads? :)

The crushed bodies of a Central and South American insect, called the Cochineal, produces a natural red dye.

They are used for textiles, food-coloring, and cosmetics. Next time you see an ingredients list that includes carmine, cochineal extract or natural red 4, it comes from these bugs.

Surely there are debates on best pastrami in NY, but this is the one I tried when I visited. Mouth watering goodness!
