Are you saying that the HDMI cable the 3rd gen Apple TV 4k isn't good enough?
I don't do automatic updates, but I'd never block them because of security updates and new features they add.
Question? Why would you put a beta on your everyday streaming device?

You don't actually love your Apple TV 4k, because if you did nothing would keep you from using it because the 3rd gen Apple TV 4k is the best streaming device out there.
