For real though, I will always be thankful that Gronk was hobbled for that Super Bowl. It made such a difference.

I get that we all hate Clausen (understandably), but this is an incredibly common practice. Players charge for numbers all the time.
Personally I think it's rude to even come in as a rookie and ask for someone else's number at all. It's just a number, pick another one.
I have no problem playing for overtime with the way the current rules are set up.
Practically everyone was playing on concrete for a while there in the 70s-90s
