I bought it for school because I couldn't play many games on it (boost productivity). But the only reason I was fine with that was truly because of the M-series chips and the crazy battery life they provide (and a decent amount of power too!)
Lo and behold, it's one of the greatest machines I've used. Premium chassis means it'll last long. They keyboard is honestly so amazing. I love mini-LED and the vibrant colors because of the DCI-P3 tuning. I love how applications are self-contained on macOS which means you can super easily transfer them and run them from an external drive. On Windows, my documents folder was a mess. A bunch of applications think it's okay to just put all their rubbish there. On macOS, it's a really clean interface. I'm all for efficiency when it doesn't hinder functionality, and that's predominantly what I see when I use my Mac.
