Neat, I assumed it meant she was plotting evil, like a henchman. And I assumed she was plotting evil because you failed to share your cheese after she asked for it so directly.

I dunno, I’m pretty curious about the Klingons. I feel like it involves a bat’leth.

I bet the Vulcans came up with something good too.

In a lot of the novels they refer to the “refresher” where they use “refresher paper” and honestly I would be really disappointed to find that they’re still using paper to clean their butts in 300 years.

My, aren’t we salty.

What I’m saying is, there is a certain type of man who goes around policing women’s appearances and beauty habits on the internet (ew, I wish they wouldn’t wear makeups.. so gross!). This type also gets fussy when they have to witness a woman not having a stunningly flawless face (ew, she’s a 3, how dare she exist).

Agree. Men who go out of their way to evaluate women’s appearances and say they like women with no makeup generally mean they prefer it when women are level ten makeup astronauts who make full face look like “I just woke up this way!”

That said, the full-set lakes that make it visibly hard for a person to blink look really uncomfortable, and that makes me vicariously uncomfortable.

If it’s toxoplasmosis that makes me love this deeply then I don’t want to be toxoplasmosesless.

With mine is the blinds. She doesn’t mess with them unless she’s mad at me about something, and then she waits until we make eye contact and then begins her assault on the window treatments, while maintaining eye contact. She’s Alpha as fuck.

Long standing depression and anxiety often come with habits; mental, personal, emotional, relational, hygiene. These habits can establish a negative cycle- don’t feel like doing anything because depressed > depressed because didn’t leave the couch today, etc.

CBT is about managing behaviors and won’t really go into rehashing every bad thing that’s ever happened to you. Some therapists list CBT on there About Me section, but then just do regular talk therapy, where that’s basically all you do.

If your life, health, relationships and career are all fine and you purely struggle with unpleasant feelings that are effectively medicated away without unwanted side effects, then there would be no need for CBT.

Having to work really hard to separate my feelings about Guinan from my feelings about Whoopi lately. But even then, Troi, Crusher, Guinan.

I think the thing that saved her life was being a white woman. A tea pot in the hands of pretty much anyone else would be a lethal weapon in the eyes of intruding officers. They get extra scared when they kick down doors, so “feared for their life” has a much broad definition in that situation.

Nothing comes up in a Google image search for it.
