Ive always found his character to be a bit 2.5 dimensional.

Many, many people. Some of whom I respect somewhat like Swamp Communist. Most at least slightly tongue in cheek.

There's a semi-good argument here in that while Trump will individualistically and stochastically heighten conditions, Biden will drag the entire liberal infrastructure of the USA into support of Fascism, moaning and wailing about how saad they are the whole time.

If you can, walk to a park, lie down, have a nap, let bugs crawl over you. You'll feel better.

The very first, Walter Jon Williams' Hardwired if I recall.

EDIT: Hardwired is early but postdates Neuromancer

That is why The Diamond Age has the Cyberpunk character die in the first chapter, where the possibility of even a dystopic freedom in the collapsing individualistic freefall of Social Democracy is crushed by the all-encompassing grasp of Capitalist society, which abhors the power Vacuum of 80s underground hacking.

My main issue is that I'd prefer an AC character to NOT be historical because of the whole shadow history vibe. But honestly I'd like even more offbeat protagonists and cooler settings. I want, like, a game set during the last days of the Inca with a Maori Protagonist.

There are more classes (there are still a few owner-operated farms, which technically count as Yeomanry, and the PB is a different class to the HB), Proles and Bougies are just the main ones.

Humpback because they're some of the ones around here. Also because we need them to save us from the alien probe in the future.

And you all laughed when the US said the Parliamentarian was stopping them from passing anything.

If you look carefully, you can often tell if a person speaks French all the time by the pattern of lines on the side of their mouth, this allows you to quickly identify who to mock.
