This morning my colleague was sent to a school she didn't know, so she used GMaps to get the directions. She parked her car, but wasn't able to find the school. She called me and we found out that GMaps sent her almost 1km away from her destination. I gave her the correct address and she was able to find the place, but she was late for work (no big deal anyway). After further inspection, I found out that the school was mapped as an insurance office. I suspect it's a case of vandalism, but who knows.

There are forks (I use TachiJ2K) but who knows what their future will be.

Are we sure TachiJ2K will still be developed? I really hope Kakao won't threaten them too.

I didn't know that, but I've never mapped those.

The only problem I have with OSMGo is that when adding a crossing the software doesn't merge it with a nearby way (as opposed to EveryDoor). Otherwise it's a great app.

Thanks, it works perfectly

I really like this interface, but I can't find a way to save posts or comments on mobile

I live in a small European town (~17000 persons) and if I walk 13 minutes I get to the other side of the town.

Still, I see he ended 20th in today's race, not too bad.

Poi non so da cosa dipenda effettivamente. Però, per esempio, qui su feddit.it io non riesco a usare quel metodo per rispondere a un post sulla mia istanza Mastodon.

Quick question from an ignorant: why is closed-source bad?

As an European I've never seen a diverging diamond (though I've been in the US a few times) and boy they look scary to drive across. I know you just have to drive straight, but that criss-cross interchange looks scary.

Also: how big is that parking lot? It reminds me of those Simpson's gags were the family have to park so far away they can't even see the location they came to visit.

I was browsing Home when I found this post which has a gif, but the video controls are not working (play/pause button doesn't do anything and there's no status on the status bar).

MapComplete wants to change domain and asks users for suggestions.

I've found this mural of Calvin and Hobbes some years ago in Venice Beach, CA
