Biden falls out of an airplane riding an atom bomb backwards.

Libs tried so hard to say Pelosi was clapping sarcastically. And she went on mic to say just the opposite. And then libs tried to say she was doing 4D chess. Like chuds claimed about trump. Like libs with biden, and us with bernie.

These politicians have realized they can look at the camera like in the office and imply that they know exactly what they're doing.

And we nod like they're going to ever so anything. It's just weird, you know? They can get away with doing less than nothing.

It sounds like your house guest gets back at themselves pretty regularly. I'm sure there's nothing worse you can do to them that they won't eventually do to themselves.

Biden is going to give Israel a billion dollars in weapons, but he's not happy about it!

Lol the expression on her face is the most discussed part of the piece and they think just having some AI version would inspire the same discussion.

How sad that their appreciation of art and human creativity is so lacking.

I think if you weren't in a cramped kitchen built to make the most out of space while avoiding safety regulations, the work would be easier. And then throw in the lack of shitty managers, bad pay, and bad schedules, and it seems more doable.

But yes, it's still a lot of work.

I thought they used ivermectin for this.

Gilead could make PrEP freely available to people and reduce the transmission of HIV, but that wouldn't be profitable.

Also hepatitis c is curable, but hell if the average person can afford it.

Tesla tombstones will be rolled out as soon as they stop catching fire.

You think they'll send him to California now?

I'm a red bean.

It's good

Inspired by the smuglord meme and debate bro talking points lately.

If anybody can make it better, I would love that. I think it has some potential.

It's amazing how lacking an understanding of materialism fails to hold powerful people accountable. Surely no theorists warned about conflating reduced harm with harm-reduction.

Politicians can just not harm. Them reducing the harm they do isn't a good thing.

Anyway, that was a fun thread.

I don't wanna be the last one out here who knows how to do my job. And also, I want my dramatic exit to be more dramatic and if everybody else is quitting, my exit will feel less special.

I've got two off the top of my head:

First is that the design of the USB drives needing to be oriented up or down was the result of a minor cost cutting choice. The inventor regrets it because it wouldn't been easy made so that USB drives were reversible.

Second is the abundance of pointless SEO stuff on recipe pages. It would be a cool opportunity for the creator to add a personal touch to the recipe page beneath the recipe, but they pop in first along with ads and suggested links. And they're so frustrating to navigate that they had to incorporate a 'jump to recipe' button.

Do those parts have names? I'm trying so hard to know what they're called.

In part because I just want to eat the crunchy pistachio skin pieces.

With the way sites seem to be deleting and pulling things off the internet or locking it behind ridiculous paywalls (only to then delete it like Infinity Train)

How do you cope with the fear or anxiety that comes with losing those things?

It's just something I've been struggling with lately, especially in how to put it to words. Some of the stuff I like is garbage, but it's really distressing when I think of something to show someone and I find that it's been deleted or the search terms I'd used before only link to ads or reddit-logo, which at this point issame-picture .

I think there's a degree of acceptance I should reach about the loss of information, but it just feels so wrong right now. In a time and at a technological level where that doesn't have to happen.
