People already hardly interact with old content. Have you been there? It's dead. The game should be called "Zone of Warcraft" because pretty much everyone only runs the latest expansion.

Pentiment, an awesome point-and-click whodunnit with meaningful choices and beautiful medieval graphics. You only have limited time so you can't do everything and follow every lead.

Return to Moria, a generic survival/crafting game that was recently free on Epic. I had low expectations of this one, but it is surprisingly solid. But it really sucks that there is no dedicated server support.

I think I'll love the time mechanic. Pentiment has something similar and it makes choices meaningful. I don't like how in many games when an NPC says "meet me there tonight" they will just wait for you for weeks on end. They should wait the very next night and then be pissed off that you stood them up!

I DM all my sessions with Lego minis. It's always great fun to build the monsters! I even made a custom wet-erase battle mat which squares that are 4x4 lego studs (32mm) instead of inches.

I have a few backup lights that are dumb led lights on a smart wall switch. But my HA is pretty much never down unless I am manually restarting it for updates. And my Zigbee network works even when the internet or wifi is down.

Bulbs are mains-powered and should be zigbee routers. The way to prevent that is to take out the switch, wire it closed, and stick a smart button over it.

Which of these is better for Aqara? I recently switched from Conbee to Zigbee2mqtt but I don't have any aqara devices (yet...)

You can use an ESP32 to ring the mechanical bells via HA when someone presses the doorbell

What do you mean that Reolink is not available? You can get them easily and they work great with HA and Frigate.

I agree. I had a laptop with a clit mouse around 1999/2000 or so. After some practice I could play Quake 2 with that thing. It was awesome!

I just finished SOMA. If you're into scary games, just get it in the next sale and go in blind. Don't read anything about it. It's great!
