Now you have a prisoner's dilemma. A lot of studio's need to take their thumbs off the scale at the same time, or you're just sending your customers to someone else.

But you can be coerced to give up that number. People can buy your vote and you can give them your number as proof. That's a huuuuge problem. You should not be able to prove (to someone else) how you voted. Ever.

What you need is some kind of systeem that allows you to verify your vote, but which is useless to someone else. It's probably possible. But your idea isn't it.

That is a bad idea because now someone else can also check how you've voted. I.e. you can be coerced or threatened to vote a certain way. The current system is anonymous. You can vote X but say you voted Y and nobody can prove different.

The problem is that it's probably going to be hard to play without the internet to look things up

Most games today are cross platform and sell substantially more copies that old console games. Mega Man 3 for example sold just over 1 million copies and was a great success. GTA V, crossplatform AAA, sold almost a quarter of a billion copies.

How is US tech going to do without European money? It's a two-way street. Things like GDPR, USB-C charging everywhere and other regulations have shown that the EU has plenty of influence.

You don't change leadership just for nothing else to change. "Nothing will change" is the biggest lie there is in any leadership change or corporate restructuring. They only say that in the hope that you won't jump ship immediately.

Dwarf Fortress is not free open source software! It's a great game and runs natively on Linux. You can download it at no cost. But it's not open source.

Gemini was automatically installed for me, and the app connections were all enabled, like the article describes. Better check and be safe than to be sorry
