Tofino is on Vancouver island... I guess islands do benefit from this technology.

Is there anywhere that we have had a drought in Canada? I understand this tech for places like California and Israel, but is it necessary in Canada? Genuinely curious.

A lot of people are saying Capitalism. Is it straight up capitalism that is the scam or the myth of financial mobility? (the American dream)

I don't know if it is quite as simple as that. Most recently the bank failures were because those banks got upside down on bond holdings due to rate increases. If everyone chilled out and took their money out in appropriate time, then the bank would have had all the money. They just couldn't get all the money immediately due to the duration of their bond holdings.

With housing starts falling this is more important than ever. We should have built more during the low rates though.

I mean, it's the price of land that went up. The house will always cost the same to build. It still sucks that the person owning that land and the one making commission selling it is making bank, but changes in housing prices (especially the ones that are already built and just sitting there) won't usually translate into higher construction salaries.

I'm so glad my most recent car purchase was a prius C. I have been saving $30 everytime I fill up since I bought it.

Looks like Ozempic is already having a huge positive impact on its patient population.

The drug was only approved last December. Everyone needs a bit more patience.

This drug was only approved less than a year ago. It's great that there is so much demand and supply will pick up to match it.

The two biggest sources of microplastics are car tires and clothing. If you care about reducing microplastics, you should try to not buy plastic clothing (polyester, nylon, etc.) and instead buy biodegrable fibers like cotton or wool. I don't know what to do about the tire thing except drive maybe drive less?
