The capital gains changes are what closed this loophole and narrowed the gap. It is an excellent piece of policy that maintains fairness at all levels of the taxation system.

The wild thing is that not all, but most of the disregard for norms is coming from the Conservatives. They are not acting true to their name on this front.

It's the demagogery that really puts a bad taste in my mouth for Conservatives these days. Harper and O'Toole did not engage in this type of insult to your intelligence.

Methane and CO2 are very different. Methane is inert, but CO2 can form carbonates. Once a carbonate is formed the CO2 is solid and will not bubble to the surface.

Regardless, if a vaccinated person and an unvaccinated person get the disease, the chance of survival for the unvaccinated person is much lower.
