I mean, they aren't treated well by other users, they don't deserve to be and shouldn't be. Paradox of tolerance and all that. They have their echo chamber and leaving it means a bad time. They are still treated well by the platform itself.

Yeah me too. I don't know if the new one is any better but BotW just wasn't very fun, but I'm also not the biggest fan of these sorts of super "empty" explory games.

No, they want to kick out third party apps because that cuts costs and the first party app is way better for pushing ads onto users. That's the real investor pitch, they just aren't saying it out loud.

If it was about being profitable, why charge such outrageous prices?

If it's about covering costs created by these apps, why suddenly drop such a huge change on them with an timeframe that can't possibly be met? Why don't they work together with app developers, communicate things well ahead of time and give them some leeway when necessary?

They just want to kill third party apps without outright saying it and the easiest way to do that is to charge costs they can't pay.

Mir kommt bei sowas immer die fantastische Rede von Sisko in den Sinn. Klar, auch der Durchschnittsdeutsche hat Probleme, es läuft nicht alles perfekt, aber Fakt ist nunmal das es uns im Schnitt sehr gut geht. Ja, auch im Median.

Das sind teils einfach sehr strukturschwache Regionen. Nichts da, nichts los, keine Arbeitsplätze, oft sehr homogen. Ein Haufen frustrierter Leute auf der Suche nach Antworten, und die werden nicht bei den etablierten Parteien gefunden. AfD wählen ist da teilweise genau so normal und gesellschaftsfähig wie anderswo absolut gegen die AfD zu sein. Die Lebensrealität ist eben nicht die selbe und man kann sich ja vormachen was man will, ich glaube viele die sich niemals vorstellen könnten die AfD zu wählen würden das auch tun wenn sie in der tiefen strukturschwachen östlichen Provinz aufgewachsen wären nicht weil sie alles so toll finden sondern weil man irgendwann einfach verzweifelt ist.

Das ist der fundamentale Grund wieso eine große Community besser ist als viele kleine, wobei ich das fediverse potentiell auch als eine große Community bezeichnen würde.

Das wird nicht von heut auf morgen gehen aber solange die Menschen mittelfristig alle woanders hin abwandern sehe ich auch für Nischen gute Chancen.

But I refuse to use anything but a 65%, I have a seperate numpad if I need one and having mouse and keyboard closer together is already a godsend ergonomics wise, I have no idea how I could stand full size boards back in the day.

A split keyboard is already great because your arms can be in a normal position and proper tenting and tilt makes sure your wrists are at a good angle as well.

That said, most of the more "advanced" split keyboards have pretty.. unique layouts and I don't know if I'll get used to them. I also really want to keep my arrow keys and don't want to rely on layers too much, for stuff like the F keys and other rarely used functions it's fine but I don't want layers for anything that's a regular part of my workflow.

Maybe I'll just get a quefrency and see how it goes.

Das hat schon sehr lange Tradition im deutschen Internet, gab's auch schon vor 20 Jahren in diversen Foren und co.

Gibt da natürlich die Sprachpuristen aber ich glaube für viele ist das einfach etwas was man sehr lange ironisch macht bis man irgendwann merkt das es zum normalen Sprachgebrauch gehört.

Aber ja, das es etwas "cringe" ist wie die Jugend so sagt oder "kringelig" wie der Freund des Zangendeutsch es nennen würde, gehört dazu.

Ja das sieht man immer wieder, für viele ist es ein Protest den sie als unnötig wahrnehmen oder über den sie sich aufregen weil sie persönlich eingeschränkt werden. Aber gut, wenn man den Kontext entweder nicht verstehen kann oder möchte..
