Anything less than 5mph over the cops consider suspicious where I live. 6.2 mph over is slow-lane, but at least reasonable.

Anywhere with sensible traffic schools. Accidents are almost always caused by drivers going 10mph faster or slower than the rest of traffic. Being the odd man out in this criteria is dumber than ignoring some numbers on a sign that everyone else is ignoring.

I mean, I agree its already broken, but proponents of this "it's x thousand pixels wide!" non-sense will point out that at least it rounds up to that number, so I opted to point of the vaule at whict that excuse, too, breaks down. 4k has 4 times(2x2) the pixels as 1080P, and 8k has, well shit, 16 times(4x4) the pixels as 1080P. Someone shit the bed with this non-sense.

Apparently the "official" standard defines nothing beyond 8k. Go figure.

Oh, so you're certain that OP even tried to lookup a service manual, and that there's not one available? Endoscope and the right screwdriver together are still cheaper than a new blender.

Ever heard of a teardown? Go watch some on Youtube or Peertube. You won't find many that fail to disclose the manufacturer, that break the plastics, nor will you find many, if any, blenders that use a more common screw-head for the motor shaft.

I deal with worse than this Blender on a daily basis, or rather I might, if the internals of the devices I work with weren't behind literal lock-and-key, and yet, NONE of them are left un-supervised with your standard schmuck, their CHILDREN and pets.

HIDDEN screws, glues, DRM and fragile tabs are indeed a real problem. They are major reasons we need service manuals and "guitar pics" and all sorts of other non-sense that inspired the Right-to-Repair movement. OP's Blender has NONE of those things.

Okay, but, 4k has literally 4 times the number of pixels that 1080P does, 3840 horizontal("4k"?) versus 1920("2k"?), and 2160 versus 1080 vertical. We are not so far from breaking the "1000pixels" interpretation completely; "13k" would be 12,480 pixels wide.

Seems to me that marketers are trying to conflate "k" and Megapixels, but if we started using Megapixels for Displays, the side-by-side numbers would look truely pathetic(versus what "seems common/attainable", not what's "percievable".

Full HD/1080P is 1K. If you meant better than 1080P though, then more power to you.
