It really is easier to gather your own group with a smaller, more open-ended ruleset. As I mentioned, outside of GW tournaments, you can literally play with cardboard cutouts or paper tokens.

Sorry, didn't realize you were the OOP. That show is more of the FIRE mindset than grinding for money.

I think the DoBC author was more hung-up on an extreme version, but the protagonist just got lucky the first time around, and is happy enough once he's back to not having to work his own hands to the bone. From there its more about avoiding even social interaction; He doesn't want his friends to need to come to him for money or bother him at all except on his own terms, and giving them the "grind-set" bug keeps them busy enough that his own true laziness doesn't occur to them.

If you look at my comment history, you're preaching to the choir.

One Page Rules plus a 3D printer or paper cut-outs and friends who are up for such will save you so much headache/$$$$ over doing things the Games Workshop way.

Otoh, don't mind me. I own a couple official armies, but haven't played in around 20 years. I prefer the lore and avoid certain un-washed masses like the plague.

Seems like it, but admitting to anything like the work of loading it or the expense of purchasing the drinks would tarnish his grifter persona.

Go punch a Nazi. Or downvote. Maybe picket The Onion headquarters if that's your fancy? If this "slander" holds no weight, then why are you wasting your breath here?

They are celebrities, not political candidates. "Vote Blue No Matter Who" is disingenuous when the DNC weilds it, and not even remotely applicable to rich-ass celebrities whose entire political stance is to try to be "apolitical".

Don't forget Ghost jobs and all the temp/recruitment agencies out there, but I did forget the "I never hire anyone" bit until your comment prompted me to check the pic again. Also, listings that only exist certain nepotism or racial/class hires, but they stild have to interview x number of excluded candidates for appearances' sake.

Personally, there were a few times I was head-hunted by what turned out to be middlemen trying to fill a quota. No in-person interviews, but to say the jobs they were recruiting for were a bad fit for my public credentials would be an understatement.

I assure you, corporate non-sense knows no bounds, and I'm happy for you, that you've had the luck to avoid encountering some of the worst and most demoralizing of it.

Simple. Because they don't know its there.

Indeed, condemn us all. So where's the part where these "apolitical" cowards-at-best deserve your defence, again?

That was twelve years ago, and "please don't use our music for torture" is the bare minimum for people who want plausible deniability without actually doing anything about the fact that people are being tortured.

Because I regularly reference, purge ads/trash-vids from, and occassionally search, my watch history anyways. Also, selecting which watchlist to save to is an additional step of going through menus when I can just open a video and then hit the Back button. Although that's kind-of an after-the-fact justification, as I don't really recall how or when I fell into this habit.
