I would be more interested in themed favicon sets like on Android or Linux DE's, and any way that would avoid Google or lock-in/forced updates to such as with the Play store or Windows I would avoid like the plague.

Gimme back .dll's full of icons I can create and edit to my liking. For modernization, meta-text(url or application name) for each icon instead of referencing "icon #x in this .dll", and a format more usefull than .dll's full of icons that all have to be the same size(and .tiff, .giff, or bitmaps at that, when jpeg and vector formats exist), but that's about it.

All this re-inventing-the-wheel/web2.0/3.0 shit is geared towards creating dependency and lock-in in the stupidest ways possible.

My youngest son has a story just like this, but he would have been a toddler without anything to play Roblox on in that time-frame.

Damn, I wish he liked anything like beetles or stamps or whatever, even half as much as he likes the most disappointing sorts of video games, and no, I don't mean trash games, I mean abandonware of the RFID/janky-peripherals variety. Oh, and fortnight/roblox.

I didn't figure you were advocating anything of the sort. We wouldn't have to invade, unless the goal were more to kill a bunch of people. These countries may not be happy to just become states or territories, but EU style open borders with a mutual defense pact? They would jump at it.

The main reason these countries have closed borders and what-not is because the US pressures them to. Creates captive populations, poverty, and more crime than otherwise need occur. Nevermind the drugs and human trafficking that arrises from treating victims as "illegals"/criminals.

If only the administration actually cared about things like economics and national security, integrating all those countries and their peoples instead of trying to deport them would make a lot of sense, but your solution doesn't hurt enough brown people.

More to the point of your post, Coastlines count as borders, so this would actually dramatically expand the "frontline".

Destroying the Horny Layer on someone who is already not feeling their best: solid call.

... otherwise the flood coolant builds up anaerobes, which degrade the anti-rust compounds, among other issues.

Tohru deserves better than this. I think. I'm only on Episode 6.

Come drive for Uber, where you too can experience the joys of driving home a bunch of shit-faced assholes at 9:00pm, only to immediately turn around and deliver another group to the same bar.

That said, I prefer the groups that start and end their drinking later; They tend to pace themselves and plan ahead a bit, or at least not spend the entire ride bitching about how there aren't enough drivers.

It really is easier to gather your own group with a smaller, more open-ended ruleset. As I mentioned, outside of GW tournaments, you can literally play with cardboard cutouts or paper tokens.

Sorry, didn't realize you were the OOP. That show is more of the FIRE mindset than grinding for money.

I think the DoBC author was more hung-up on an extreme version, but the protagonist just got lucky the first time around, and is happy enough once he's back to not having to work his own hands to the bone. From there its more about avoiding even social interaction; He doesn't want his friends to need to come to him for money or bother him at all except on his own terms, and giving them the "grind-set" bug keeps them busy enough that his own true laziness doesn't occur to them.

If you look at my comment history, you're preaching to the choir.

One Page Rules plus a 3D printer or paper cut-outs and friends who are up for such will save you so much headache/$$$$ over doing things the Games Workshop way.

Otoh, don't mind me. I own a couple official armies, but haven't played in around 20 years. I prefer the lore and avoid certain un-washed masses like the plague.

Seems like it, but admitting to anything like the work of loading it or the expense of purchasing the drinks would tarnish his grifter persona.
