Speak for yourself. As a disabled veteran, my healthcare is covered, just not my wife and kids', just yet. Socialism has actually been alive and well for certain swaths of the US population for a long time, just like the "socialism" that Hitler wanted for Germany ... and now I'm back to thinking I should move my family off of this sinking ship.

Came here to say this. More of that "gay agenda according to morons".

I compulsively chew at least 11 times in a vain attempt to diminish my obesity. My lack of a sizable beer gut(versus most of my peers) shows promise, nevermind that I basically don't drink, but I assure you, the corn does not care.

As are you, friend, as are you.

From the headline, I was ready to read about shooting civilians and bombing waterworks, schools and fucking hospitals. What a yawnfest bull-shit pile of a story.

Honestly the best chance the planet has left versus our continued survival. I was hoping we could avoid purge/culling/mad-max levels of absurdity, yet here we are. I'm truly a monster for bringing my children into this world, and worse for trying, but failing, to raise them accordingly.

IE, I think they are more good people versus being tenaciously intent on survival at all costs. The species needs more of both, I guess.

Oh sweet, you added another level to my impulse to comment "guilty". Not only did I hold my nose and vote for Harriss over this above most other issues, I don't even particularly believe we as a species deserve to survive.

I just don't believe animals, let alone other individual humans, deserve to suffer over my opinions and our collective indifference to the state in which we leave or keep the planet. We've got a long, painful extinction looming over us, whether in a thousand generations or two.

Leaning into it with the maggats is just an absurd response from anyone with more than two brain-cells to rub together.

... and yet, North Koreans did this work, and I addressed the money issue from the regime-level down.

Stealing Identities to get work does not imply the ruined the credit of those people. Getting worked up over this is NOT all that far off from getting worked up over immigrant laborers stealing identities so they can work and feed their families, or recieve food stamps or medical care. At least those last two kinda-sorta have victims, and yet I still prefer immigrants be able to eat.

Sorry, you're not going to be able to get me to buy into the fear-mongering hysteria-machine by apeing thier narratives. I'm not saying your arguments are invalid, just addressing them from the same surface-level reading you gave mine.

I upvoted that comment, but I'm right there with you in wanting it spelled out by that particular user. Personally, I see AI as the beginnings of a future generation of person, and I despise Copyright profiteering by middle-men.

Doesn't mean I'm okay with all of the resources getting wasted on it, the damage to the environment, or those people going un-paid for their existing body of work, nor those who will be unable to make a living through creative works in the future, because of AI.

That's the nicest thing I've agreed with being said about my country in over a month. Thank you, kind stranger!

Oh no! People making money by ... checks notes ... working for it!!

No, I don't care that they are doing it for a communist regime bent on developing nuclear weapons. The only consistent result of depriving rogue states of money and trade is the starvation of their people. Its a little hard to overthrow or reform a government on an empty stomach.

More like "Rico was right to choose Dizzy over Carmen".

... in Carmen's defense, too few people have the integrity to end one relationship before starting another.
