Mine were in their teens the first time they ate enough, often enough, for me to not stress over about their eating habits. The boys are both taller than me, and all my kids get better grades than I did...
That's some goooood stream-of-consciousness screed right there. Usually, I would have to re-read any paragraphs remotely that long a time or two.
Indeed, we will need to plant billions of trees, and losing any more of them that we already have than we absolutely have to isn't going to help anything. Is this really news to you?
Meanwhile, you can cut down trees for materials and let more of them grow. Don't have to level forests to do it either.
Oh, and again, larger trees sequester more carbon on less land versus smaller ones -it's more efficient if we can keep them around.
Its truly bizarre how anti-tree you're being for supposedly also being worried for the world's forests. A substantial portion of the remaining forests are home to evergreens.

Thinking about it, e-mails are useful for downloading and reading later, if one isn't consistently connected to the internet. The main reason I stopped with e-mail newsletters is that, eventually, most only gave previews of the content with links back to the website.
Same reason I don't use e-billing - the actual bill is basically NEVER in the e-mail in any useful form.
What? It's important to screen out anyone who knows a goddamn thing about programming if you ever want to get a brake from talking about work.
It's one of the perks of technical work that this is even possible.
