Devilled Eggs are worse in that regard, so ... what's your point?
I'm the opposite. The moment I cross that 7-hour threshhold, I feel like I haven't slept at all.
I like Devilled Eggs well enough myself. I prefer regular Hard-boiled though, and I stand by what I said about "Nutella Eggs".
I have seen them offered as a salad add-on in a ridiculous number of settings. So much so, that I was surprised to see Mandarins in their skins in the grocery store, and even more surprised to find I actually liked them, so long as they're fresh.
Honestly, I'm more concerned with the wasted yolks. Devilled Eggs probably taste a bit worse, but at least the yolk gets used in those, iirc
