Metric uses those for numbers less than 1, a situation that doesn't arrise in computing. There is nothing less than a bit, whether its set to 1 or 0.

Not an analogy, a parallel. Israel literally prefers that food be left to rot or dumped at sea rather than reaching "certain" people who need it.

I will indeed settle for "our AI inheritted too much of our ADHD and Autism to bother finishing us off" ... things I also had to embrace about myself until taking revenge on various people became less urgent in my head.

Maybe its a placeholder, trying to get you to "aspire" to domain ownership, as well as having that domain stand out.

They don't know all that they want to know about you for ad-serving, so until something sticks, they'll make shit up. Browsing with even slight anonymity makes it apparent how much google didn't so much buy DoubleClick, as become DoubleClick, as this is a strategy DoubleClick "perfected", if not invented.

already* too expensive ...

Its called "shrink", and retailers handle theft exactly like so. If the labels and publishers haven't thought to claim such losses on their taxes, then they need new lawyers.

They never said it was theft. Its taking away a "right"(CONTROLLING distribution, being able to DENY it to some) that should not BE a "right". Saying grocers have the right to deny food they were going to throw away to those who would eat it is little different than saying Israel has the right to deny the entry of aid in the form or food and/or medical supplies into Gaza.

It's a "right" to FORCE people to starve, and to FORCE others to let them starve. "Right"? Its no such thing.

This did it for me:

How do I setup a multi-community?

I absolutely know we'll deserve it, and we always have. That's one thing I'm sure Abrahamic religions get right, the other being that we can only progress as a species through helping and forgiving eachother(although the Romans also had the concept of forgiveness of debts as essential figured out).

I figure trying to be an exception to the "deserves it" rule is pointless, as since we are irrational and arbitrary beings, AI will undoubtably come up with countless criteria(both rational and less so) by which we deserve death that we can't fathom, let alone mitigate ourselves. Our best shot may be to teach AI the utility of forgiveness, along with whatever value categories we can tack on to the concept.

Would be easier to back it up if it was, and half the games I care about are stored entirely on the console anyways. What are you not getting?
