Its not the people with properly-configured networks demanding to be convinced to cover their webcams. Also, our PCs are generally not the devices we're slapping into DMZs and VLANs with either no LAN access, no internet access, or a bajillion blocked(or whitelisted) ports.

Personally, I'm far more concerned about my phone, but google has had my family's data by the balls forever now anyways, nevermind my kids' school-provided chromebooks.

The thing I feared but dared not speak when it occurred to me...

Intel and AMD firmware's have been having exploits discovered all over the news in recent years. Yes, for older processors and chipsets, but tell me, is all your hardware brand new?

Oh no, I was talking about keeping the stock android phone at home. I'll use outlook on a phone again when that employer buys me a phone, period.

Really seems to me that the only way to manage this consistently will be with a non-de-googled phone as back-up for downloading and exporting apks. Doesn't need a phone number, and wouldn't have to have a google account with any real information.

I already enjoy the taste of water, and if brown doesn't include understanding what my cats say, I'm going for red, because if I don't have to worry about being rejected over cat ears and a tail, why the hell not? Gimme some of that night vision too though...

Everything in your tags is either the pinephone, #blessthedevs, or software. Your pic showed a keyboard, mouse, monitor and presumably some other goodies.

Of course, now you've switched the pic, to show mostly just ... a battery pack? Why not just tell me to fuck off? Oh wait, the original is in the comments. Yeah, I'm still not understanding your response to my original comment.

When the variable name is the description that should be in the comments.

Idea: Comments that automattically populate the end of any line a given variable is invoked on, including spelling out formulas from that line. ie: float y=mx+b // (cartesian y value)=(slope)(cartesian x value)+(cartisian y-intercept)

"Duplicated" coments not actually in the file, but specified witt the creation of such variables and spread around by the code editor /IDE.

Sorry, is there supposed to be a blog post attached, or is the image hosted on mastodon just because.

The hardware, please, list the HARDWARE!!

Metric uses those for numbers less than 1, a situation that doesn't arrise in computing. There is nothing less than a bit, whether its set to 1 or 0.
